Rachel has been physically active all of her life. She studied ballet, tap, and jazz, and performed with Dance Theater in Westchester. She was initially drawn to yoga as a physical outlet but quickly realized it was so much more. Enamored with the philosophy and lifestyle behind the physical practice she enrolled in the 200-Hour teacher training at TheYogaScape and became a certified RajaHatha yoga teacher in 2010. She truly appreciates the 8-limbed path of raja yoga and is sincerely grateful to her teacher Amy Pearce-Hayden for sharing her knowledge and wisdom. Rachel has been teaching yoga to teenagers as a high school elective, and in 2012 she was certified by Shari Vilchez-Blatt of Karma Kids Yoga to teach a unique style of yoga to children in a fun filled way! Rachel considers yoga the key to helping her live a more meaningful life. She truly loves sharing and learning yoga with both adults and children and hopes to inspire others to embrace the spirit of yoga for a more peaceful, joyful, energized life. Rachel joined TheYogaScape Faculty in the summer of 2012.
